The 10th IESF Esports World Championship in Kaohsiung was the tournament with tthe largest scale in IESF history, and there would be athletes from 50 different countries coming to Kaohsiung to participate in the event. To fulfill the event, Chinese Taipei Esports Association recruited students from Wenzao Ursuline University of Languages, Shu-Te University and Li-Chih Valuable School, recommended by Ministry of Education, to volunteer for the event. After interview, about 200 volinteers joined the event, in charge of airport pick-up, translation and table service at Esports Summit, Athletes' Village Service Counter, Dining Hall at K-Arena, photo-taking assistance, ticket-checking, awards ceremony, team assistants, and so on.
Staff of Chinese Taipei Esports Association had been from Taipei to Kaohsiung several times to arrange training for the volunteers during preparation period. Not only did the athletes and officials express their gratitude for the voluntters in person, but Secretary General of IESF appreciated their work during the event. The volunteers were undoubtedly the heroes that made 10th IESF Esports World Championship a success.
Chinese Taipei Esports Association will provide practice opprtunities for students majoring in Esports by holding more tornaments and relevant events with an aim to create new career paths for students in Taiwan along with sustainable development for Esports Industry.
